| A guide service could not have a better “varsity” full-time guide
than Theron Woods. He is simply the most talented, enjoyable, and hard-working
fella we know. With Theron, there are some certainties…you will not in your
life hear a better “meat” duck caller; you will not spend a day with him
without laughing your head off; and, it is simply impossible for you to have
ever heard a better musician in your life. This isn’t “puff” talk, we at
Allen-Curtis Wildfowl Adventures consider ourselves truly blessed to have
Theron on board carrying our friends to the duck hole and taking care of the
camp. |

| Currently living in Dexter, Missouri, Theron’s family roots are in
northeast Arkansas. Theron has hunted ducks all his life. Recently Theron began
contest duck calling. Trust us, we competition duck callers wish he would quit!
Theron achieved instant success by winning the second contest he ever competed
in, the 2002 Missouri State Championship. The week prior to the Missouri State
contest Theron finished an equally amazing 2nd place in his first contest at
the extremely competitive Grand American Regional contest at Reelfoot Lake,
Tennessee. Frankly, Theron’s duck calling talent shocked the professional duck
calling circuit. The next year, Theron won the Midwest Regional Duck Calling
Championship at Pointe Mouille, Michigan. It’s our belief, though, that
Theron’s forte is “meat” calling. The guy just sounds like a duck and we can’t
wait for folks to witness him workin’ ‘em in to the decoys. If you don’t like
shootin’ ‘em close, you’d better stay away from Theron. He likes to see their
eyeballs!

| Theron has also had excellent success in the “meat” calling contest
circuit. Last year he and the “Refugeman”, Keith Allen, teamed up to win and
place high in quite a few “meat” contests. In fact, they had the great pleasure
of “whoopin’” up on the World Champion “meat” calling team of our boss at the
guide service, Christian Curtis, and our buddy, Kent Cullum, at the Reelfoot
Lake Team Meat Calling Championship. Remember, the offer still stands…if you
