HRCH "Hank" MH
Hank (8yo blm) is at home with Christian recovering from a bout with
heartworms. It has been a pretty rough spring for him but he is doing much
better now. Hank has been on heartworm preventative regularly since he was a
puppy. We have heard several stories recently in which dogs have acquired this
illness that have been on a regular regimen of preventative. Don't take it for
granted, get your dog checked for heartworms yearly!
"Slick" QAA
Slick (3yo ylm) has progressed well in his quest to someday become a Field
Champion. He won his first qualifying stake at 25 months old with his “driver”,
Rick Stawski. Rick finished his "young dog" work in February and Slick is now a
Georgia resident. We are really excited that he has acquired a spot on Hugh and
Al Arthur's truck which is known nation-wide as one of the top field trial
training programs in the United States. The current plan is that he will make
his debut in the all-age stakes late this summer.
HRCH "Buckley" QAA
Buckley (5yo ylm) is back home in Bowling Green, Kentucky with his owner,
Jerimiah Harston. Jerimiah is busy trying to "patch up the holes” in Buckley’s
training after two consecutive years of being handled by Keith. Come on
Jerimiah, please get him ready for another year.
"Manny"
Manny (3yo blm) is the newest addition to the Wildfowl Adventures "Canine
Pro-Staff". Manny was purchased by Ryan this spring and currently is in
training at Webfooted Kennels in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Chris Akins. Chris
states, “Manny is a little guy with a ton of go that should be a blast to hunt
with this fall. I really hope Ryan brings him back in the spring because I
think this dog has what it takes to play the SRS game.” No more 300 yard
retrieves for Ryan!
